Le Kontinent debout
Le Kontinent debout, presented in Douala. Each key opens a brief.
The memorandum of 9 June 2024 organises the project in seven fields, from 2025 to 2050. The twelve keys of 2025 are its later public sequel. Read the memorandum
Seven fields, 2025–2050
The memorandum sorts the project into seven large subjects. Each mark opens one.
- Ideology, identity, culture and values
- The state, public administration and justice
- Education, health, social security and women’s power to act
- Economy and development policies
- Made in Cameroon and the attractiveness of the territory
- Sovereignty, diplomacy, pan-African construction and the diaspora
- Budget policy and the model of governance
Three families
The twelve keys fall into three families.
- Governance
A lighter state, a justice that belongs to no one person, and a form of the state decided by the people.
- Social progress
Family, school, care, and the people who teach or heal.
- Sovereign economy
Transform here, leave the CFA franc, and make land and energy useful common goods.
- Identity and the continent
The memory of our own, the diaspora, and Africa as home.
The twelve keys
Each key leads to its page.
- An end to wasting our money
A government of human scale, and accounts that are answered for.
- A state that looks like us and brings us together
The form of the state is decided together, then put to a vote.
- The family at the heart of the nation
Being born should not be a financial risk.
- A school that leads to work
A bilingual, practical school, set to the real country.
- Fair justice for everyone
The judge does not answer to the power that governs.
- An end to power cuts
Produce electricity close to the people who use it.
- Teachers and doctors honoured
Two professions that keep the country standing.
- An end to land conflicts
Land returns to the people who live on it.
- Our raw materials, our power
Nothing leaves raw if it can feed a factory here.
- An end to neo-colonialism
Currency, credit and debt become political choices again.
- Hemle, our strength
Name our own, on the walls and in the calendar.
- The Kontinent, Africa in miniature
Cameroon as a crossroads, not an enclave.
